In this study climate of Mashhad is analyzed by applying climatic methods and then according to trends of climatic elements based on 18-year periods the future climate of Mashhad is studied. Climatic factors have been predicted up to year 2015. The researchers took advantage of statistics of archives of I.R. of Iran Meteorological Organization during a 55-year statistical period (1951-2005). SPSS and EXCEL for statistical analysis are applied in this study, as well as WRPLOT View software for studying wind. Parameters such as temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, frost, wind, Z-standard temperature and precipitation, Evapotranspiration and climate classification is analyzed in this paper. It can be concluded that there is a strong increased trend in temperature. There is not a significant trend in precipitation. Relative humidity is decreasing and frost data shows a descending trend. Winds normally blow at speed of 3-6 knots and base on wind rose among them; south-eastern wind is dominant in Mashhad. The studying and surviving Z-standard of precipitation and temperature revealed that the climate has been changed in 1979 in Mashhad. According Thurnthwait and Torck methods annual potential evapotraspiration of Mashhad is 1509 mm and actual evapotraspiration 255.2 mm. Also Mashhad's climate is Semi-Arid, based on De Martonne method, Temperate Semi-Arid, based on Emberger method and Mediterranean, based on Koppen method
